Be careful of companies that sell the idea of "our custom CMS" or perhaps "our bulletproof proprietary system".

Sure, they are somewhat more secure, but only because no one has ever heard of them and they aren't worth bothering to hack.  The downside to such systems is that you are stuck with your provider.  No one else apart from them can manage your site.  If you need to leave or feel you are getting ripped off, then its quite costly to get away.

Newsflash - Google Changes!

At the end of October, 2010, Google changed the way it presented a majority of search results. The changes made are nothing short of a complete turn-around.

Any time a user searches for a location and a service/product, the most read results nearly always come from the Google Places search engine and not the "natural" Google results.

This change means that it is now possible for your business to be found more easily when people search on your business location.
